Progress...
Work on the new houses being built in my street is progressing rapidly - this is what the site looked like 9 days ago. I'll take another shot this week.

Cloudy
The sky is overcast today but I'm cheered up by spotting the first blossom of the year outside St. Andrew's Church in Church Road. The tree is flowering nearly two weeks earlier than it did in 2013.
You can see more sky photographs at this week's Skywatch Friday.

I is for Irritations
Many irritations - scaffolding has been up round my flat since June 2014; the builders haven't finished the work yet due to "inclement weather conditions"; windows haven't been cleaned for at least a year and I have a messy balcony. Grrrrr....

Suckers
I'm squeamish about eating seafood with suckers and tentacles (give me a nice dish of mussels and I'm happy). There's no way I'd eat that suckery thing at the end of the counter! Window display, Sage & Relish, 41 Western Road.

A slightly weird angle
Brunswick Place looking north from Western Road; Sunday afternoon. Until I looked at this photograph on the computer, I didn't realise how odd the angle of the building on the left looked. I was so busy enthusing over the beautiful cloud formation that I forgot to concentrate on anything else. I know I could crop the image but I like it the way it is.
