I have a soft spot for red brick Gothic Revival architecture, the fancier the better. This is the exterior of the Parish Church of St Philip on New Church Road looking at its best set against a brilliant blue winter sky.
The entrance to Brighton Museum & Art Gallery is near the gate in yesterday's photo. I do love the contrast between the fanciful buildings and stark winter trees.
The snow's finally disappeared from my tiny corner of the world and life can get back to normal. I like these bare trees at the bottom of Brunswick Square; they've been battered into shape by strong winds blowing off the sea.
Walk, that is. Out of my flat, down Hove Street, across Kingsway, down Hove Street South to the sea, then turn left along the seafront and walk into Brighton.
