Where canopy and column meet - I love the fancy details!

The canopy, this time looking in the opposite direction from the flower stall. Decorating the canopy are shields bearing the letters L, B, S and C for the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway.

There are some lovely ornamental details outside the station. This is the base of one of the columns that support a large canopy over the entrance. You can see a small section of the canopy in yesterday's photo.

Changeable

Rain, sun, rain, sun, rain, sun; rinse & repeat. That sums up the weather over the last few days although the forecasters say there should be less rain and more sun over the weekend. The street is Sackville Gardens; photo taken from the Kingsway end.

Pretty colour

Hebe (formerly known as Veronica).

Beautifully planted

The front garden of 10 Vallance Road is one of the nicest in this area. I walk past it often on my way to go shopping or catch a bus into Brighton and both flowers and foliage are interesting to look at, whatever the season.

Three yellows

The colours would make a nice striped pattern for a scarf - 3 yellows, 1 turquoise, 1 violet, 2 light blues, 1 pink, 1 mid blue, 1 red. Hmmm.....

Beach hut 125 is different from its neighbours - it has no number and a fancy gable.

Garden, Medina Villas

Quarter Deck

This part of Hove seafront is called the Quarter Deck; on the map, it's the section to the south of Medina Terrace.

On the grey side

It's been awfully grey and rather chilly during the last couple of days. I took this photo yesterday on a walk along an almost deserted Hove seafront.

Change of name

I know this plant as Senecio greyii; it's been renamed Brachyglottis Sunshine.

Scented

Mexican Orange Blossom, Choisya ternata.
