Weather watch

We're having very changeable weather on the south coast. This was yesterday's weather - cold, wet and very windy. Today (so far) has been grey, then sunny, then wet and now sunny again. The wind has changed direction from yesterday but there's still far too much of it!

Medina House

Medina House on Hove seafront has been under threat of demolition for several years. Brighton & Hove Council dismissed the owner's planning appeal earlier this month and it looks as though the building has been saved. You can find out more about the history of Medina House here.

This is where I go to collect packages that my postie tried to deliver when I wasn't at home; usually ones that need a signature or are too large to fit in my letterbox.

Smiling and happy

Most charity collectors decked out in silly costumes look embarrassed by their outfits. This one was enjoying rattling his bucket yesterday outside Boots in George Street; he's obviously the exception that proves the rule!
