Regent House used to house Hove Fire Station (1926-1976). The 2 arched windows were the garage for the fire engines and the roadway to the right, now leading to a block of flats, led to the parade ground and where the training tower used to be.
You're welcome:) My Dad was a fireman there from the 1940s to the 1960s and I spent many a happy time 'clanging' the bells on the engines when I went there with him as a young child.
