Beep, beep
Repair work's going on at Hove Manor on the opposite side of Hove Street from where I live. I realise that hiring a cherry picker is much less expensive than erecting scaffolding but the damn thing beeps loudly at one second intervals (I timed it) when the platform's moving. I need earplugs...

Walking along Vallance Road this morning, I noticed that the lumpy, bumpy tree has sprouted new leaves all over its trunk.
