I came across this empty box in Hove Street this morning (it was Bonfire Night yesterday) and just had to Google Mutant Space Cherries. There's a video here; have to say that the name is much more fun than the actual firework!

Knitting in public

I spent an afternoon last week on the Brighton & Hove Libraries stand at a 50+ Event at St Richard's Community Centre - I was knitting to help publicise the knitting group at Hove Library.

Just a few more days...

...before the circus packs up and moves to its next destination. I do think the big top adds a certain something to the view across Kingsway, the busy coast road!
