Musical connections 2

The second blue plaque on the front of St Aubyns Mansions commemorates music hall star Vesta Tilley, later Lady de Frece. Listen to Vesta Tilley's 1904 recording of Algy.

Musical connections 1

St Aubyns Mansions sports two blue plaques; this one commemorates English contralto Dame Clara Butt who lived at number 4 from 1903-1906. Listen to her sing Land of Hope and Glory recorded in 1911.
