Way back in February, I posted about repairing the grass areas in the Pavilion Gardens. The grass is looking so much better now.

Getting there

It's lovely weather down here on the coast and the sky really is that vibrant shade of blue. Work on the houses in Hove Street is progressing - it can't be much longer before they're finished.

Work on the new houses being built in my street is progressing rapidly - this is what the site looked like 9 days ago. I'll take another shot this week.

I is for Irritations

Many irritations - scaffolding has been up round my flat since June 2014; the builders haven't finished the work yet due to "inclement weather conditions"; windows haven't been cleaned for at least a year and I have a messy balcony. Grrrrr....

Improving the image of construction

Renewal

The lawns in the Pavilion Gardens get a huge amount of wear during the warmer months of the year and they're repaired/renewed annually with either grass seed or turf.

Shrouded

Renovations are under way on the roof of the Best Western Princes Marine Hotel on Kingsway - those neat rows of stitching holding the tarpaulins together make it look like a giant soft sculpture....
