Getting there

It's lovely weather down here on the coast and the sky really is that vibrant shade of blue. Work on the houses in Hove Street is progressing - it can't be much longer before they're finished.

I is for Irritations

Many irritations - scaffolding has been up round my flat since June 2014; the builders haven't finished the work yet due to "inclement weather conditions"; windows haven't been cleaned for at least a year and I have a messy balcony. Grrrrr....

Renewal

The lawns in the Pavilion Gardens get a huge amount of wear during the warmer months of the year and they're repaired/renewed annually with either grass seed or turf.

Shrouded

Renovations are under way on the roof of the Best Western Princes Marine Hotel on Kingsway - those neat rows of stitching holding the tarpaulins together make it look like a giant soft sculpture....
