Bug
Warm weather has brought out lots of insect life. I don't recognise this bug; he was about 2cm long and stayed on the outside of my balcony door for several hours. BTW, what looks like a dirty window is actually crusted with salt, the result of July's high winds.

Missing the obvious
I was so busy concentrating on the coats of arms that I didn't notice what was in the window until much later when I looked at the photo on the computer. It's Preston Manor again.
