All gone

Wednesday 2pm and the house is down. That guy at the back amuses me - he must like having his picture taken!

Half of the house had been knocked down by lunchtime today.

Demolition has started on this house in Hove Street - the beautiful clematis I've posted here and here is behind the red portaloo. I wonder if the plant will survive...

Rubbish!

This lot is piling up in the car park at the back of where I live. Refuse collectors (I still think of them as dustmen...) have been on strike several times in the last few weeks. We usually get one rubbish collection and one recycling collection every week and I'm hoping things get back to normal soon.
