Hard sell

George Street again - this time at the Blatchington Road end. Right in the centre you can see a young man with a folder; he's trying very hard to persuade the young lady with the bike to sign up to one of those give-an-amount-every-month-to-a-charity schemes. This sort of 'charity donation selling' by pouncing on someone in the street really irritates me; once pounced on, it's very hard to get away from the seller without being rude. Judging by her body language, the lady in white's not very keen either...

Great shot of the closed Woolworths in the background.

I tell these people I'm fully committed to the charities I currently support and they usually back off.
