Queen Victoria gets everywhere! She points out to sea at Southend-on-sea, she had to be moved in the sixties because she pointed to newly built loos that were built then!
Ironically, the man responsible for these eventually became very fond of Brighton and Hove's finer architecture. Some examples of the sort of buildings he pulled down can be seen at the top and on the east of Grand Avenue (latter out of shot) .
I moved to Hove from London in 2007 and I'm gradually finding out about the delights of both city and seaside. Come and join me on my pictorial voyage of discovery.
