Edward Carpenter
Blue plaque marking the birthplace of Edward Carpenter at 45 Brunswick Square. Carpenter was a poet, anthologist, social philosopher and early gay activist.

Never heard of him despite his stay here in Leeds. Interesting that he had to go to Sheffield for a more working class audience.
