Unlike some other war memorials, this memorial does not display the names of the fallen. The Roll of Honour commemorating the names of the 631 men who died during World War I is in the foyer of Hove Library.
I just went and looked a bit at the Roll of Honour. It's all pretty miserable, but it's just awful to see two or three men from the same family! One son killed, then a couple of years later another...
