Birds in a tree

Eastern side of Norfolk Square, Brighton. I can't make my mind up whether the birds are rooks or not but they're definitely members of the crow family.

Thanks so much for the info on the weaving sticks, I'm going to have a go when I can drag myself away from other projects going on at the moment.
