White and fragrant
Mexican Orange Blossom (Choisya ternata) is a popular evergreen shrub for planting in seaside gardens. Once established, it's as tough as old boots and the flowers have the most glorious fragrance. This plant overhangs a wall in a Hove Street garden and you can smell the flowers from several feet away.
