Turning 180 degrees
I turned from taking yesterday's photo to face Palmeira Mansions, two imposing south-facing terraces built between 1883-4. They were designed by architect J H Lanchester and builder Jebez Reynolds jnr and consist of large four-storey properties with attics, basements and very nice decorative features.

Lovely: shame about the blinds
Yes, those windows need swags and drapes, not blinds. Certainly not blinds that aren't straight!
