Many of the trees near where I live haven't dropped their leaves yet in spite of some fairly appalling weather over the last few weeks. This is what the junction of New Church Road and Sackville Road looked like yesterday.

I've just realised that house on the corner used to be our doctor's. From the 1950's to the early 1980's. Can't remember the doctor's name, but I remember his pipe smoke and his Rover car!
