The inscription reads: To the most beloved memory of Harriet Maria widow of A. C. Willock Roy. Arty. (Royal Artillery) departed this life Ascension Day 1854.
Also in loving memory of Maria only daughter of the above departed this life Sunday April 2d. 1882.

I can't find any records for Harriet or her husband; their daughter Maria's death in 1882 age 63 is recorded in Brighton.

It is funny how much forms there are to form a cross. This one looks a bit celtic to me by the round outline but with its own twist. By the way thank you for looking at my blog.
Ascension Day. How unusual. Such a shame you couldn't find out more about Harriet and her husband. It's so frustrating when that happens, isn't it?
